The 24
When I first arrived in London, it rained for about two weeks straight. So this was my first impression of the city, as seen from the top of one of those iconic double-decker buses. Speaking of which, if you ever have occasion to visit London, can I suggest you travel as much as possible by bus? You see a good deal more of the city that way and they really are wonderfully convenient.
This is part of the City Daily Photo theme day, "Public Transportation." Click here to view thumbnails for all participants.

Great transport shot.
ReplyDeleteJust like I remember it.
ReplyDeleteI think you have taken the shot from "my seat" :)
Seems absolutely perfect to shoot London in the rain. :)
ReplyDeletecouldn't agree more. underground you have no idea where you are. Above ground you'll quickly discover it is all very easy to get around and then walk it. Oh and don't forget the bus is half the price of the tube.
ReplyDeletePerfect London weather - nice shot!
ReplyDeleteGreat Theme Day post. Mine is up on November 1 at Portland Oregon Daily Photo; it’s a photo that I took on the Portland, Oregon, MAX Light Rail last Saturday.
ReplyDeleteThere's one great bus ride, I think it's Number 11? 17? Winds all the way through town, best ride, hits Picadilly, Westminster, Big Ben and so forth.
