St. Paul's
May not be the classic shot from Millenium Bridge, but I am so proud of this photo anyway. Had to balance it on a wall and use the timer, all the while cursing because I don't have a tripod. But I think it turned out brilliantly anyway. It was a cloudy, rainy night and you can really see in this shot why the stars are never visible in London -- far too much light pollution.

You have a right to be proud. It's a gorgeous picture.
ReplyDeleteDidn't I give you a little bendable tripod?
ReplyDeleteI don't have it with me. And anyway, what I really need on nights like this one is a giant tripod that I can put on the ground instead of relying on walls.
ReplyDeleteI love this view and have shot it a few times. Once I got it while gentle snow fell. I'm sure you have ample opportunity for that at the moment. And not-so-gentle, too. (Heathrow and Gatwick both closed- mon dieu!)
ReplyDeleteNicely done Molly with this lovely photo. The only snag with heavy duty tripod is having to lug it around, but since I got mine a nice carry bag it is less cumbersome.
ReplyDeleteA very nice night scene taken without tripod, amazing!!
