Union Jacks on Regent
So, there's no getting away from it now. The Royal Wedding is on Friday and all of central London is decked out for the occasion. This is Regent Street, looking very patriotic. The next few shots will document what's going on in the city until the Great Day is upon us.
Sorry for those who are already sick of weddingspeak. I can't help it, especially since my visiting friend is taking me to all the tourist hot spots again, so these are the only photos I've been taking. Bear with me. It'll all be over soon.

It's fun to see the place all decorated like that an I look forward to the next shots.
ReplyDeleteNo prob. Fun to see London all in a tizzy.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying them too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being our eyewitness reporter!
ReplyDeletethe whole idea of "royalty" makes me gag, but let's hope "Wills" does better than his old man's first time out...
ReplyDeleteI will be flying back to Sydney after my stay in Paris, so I will be a captive audience. But I also lose 8 crucial hours. It is not so much the event, certainly not the couple, but more the excruciating commentary.
ReplyDeleteBe that what it may ... I hope the sun shines ...
it's happy to see there's somebody happy for a little bit
